Now that I’m in Fremont Nebraska it seems like just the time to start a blog of my journey, except that it’s really time to get on the road! Let’s see what appears here in the next few days!

hey bro sounds like you are doing a lot more than a bike ride. race and racism are some hard subjects even now in 2013. its hard to believe. i was at chik fa la in Waldorf with my grandson Andrew and in the play area there was a little girl and i noticed she was uncomfortable sometimes so i ask if she was all right and her response was i don’t like to play with brown kids. she could not have been more than 5-6 years old. this is not something she decided this is something her parents taught her. i did not know how to respond to this. well take care jon and please be careful cause i kinda love you bro
